(DIS)ABILITY JUSTICE
CREATING EQUAL ACCESS FOR THE DIFFERENTLY ABLED

THE MISSION

"There are more than a billion people in the world coping with physical and mental disabilities overcoming unsolicited challenges every day.  Our mission is to create a way to remove preconceptions and stereotypes by showcasing the talent and confidence of our differently abled friends and family.  Access and justice is for everyone.  That’s the challenge for the rest of us."
The mission is to recognize, foster and showcase the many artistic talents of  'Differently-Abled' community members through storytelling, performance art and music.

THE CALL FOR ENTRIES

ARTSabled is calling for SHORT FILMS (no shorter than 1 minute and no longer than 10 minutes), created by filmmakers of all ages with physical and/or learning differences.

These films can be funny, heartbreaking, thought-provoking, or even downright weird (should that be the artist or group's intent) and do not need to follow a 'beginning, middle and end' structure.

The only limitation regarding content for the films is the Filmmaker's Imagination. However, as the November 6th event will be for all ages, it is requested that films are "PG".

Finalists will be selected and their work shown at the November CREATE Core Courage event.

Please submit your films via the link provided.

We can't wait to see what you come up with!
